Forte dei Marmi
Elegance and luxury in Versilia
Forte dei Marmi is one of the most renowned seaside resorts in Italy, located on the Versilia coast.
The town is appreciated for the elegance of its palaces, the beautiful streets in the center, and the seafront promenade with its well-equipped beach clubs.
The town's symbolic monuments are the Fortino and the Pontile which once served for the loading of marble from the Apuan quarries.
The beaches of Forte are sandy and the seabed is quite shallow, making them perfect for a beach holiday with children. The beach clubs in Forte dei Marmi are among the best in Tuscany and the services they offered are numerous. Forte dei Marmi is also a popular location for surfing and kitesurfing enthusiasts.
Then there are clubs and discos that in summer and at weekends are literally taken by storm. Shopping should not be overlooked either, as Forte dei Marmi is full of shops and boutiques of all the biggest international brands.
